Had on 8/18/2000. Aroma is a lightly roasted malt scent. Color is a deep golden brown with good carbonation and head. Taste is crisp and nutty. Starting with a light body that goes down with a crisp feel. Finish is a clean roasted malt flavor backed by a light bitterness. Its a nice little Brown Ale.

this is an outstanding beer. Goes right to the top of my favorite Brown Ales. Excellent flavor. No bad aftertaste. Not too weak. Not too strong. I will buy this one regularly.

Clear copper, thin white head. Graham cracker aroma, pus some mild understated hints of plum. The Bride called it "Bland, but kind of a good bland", and that actually makes sense here. Hints of rasin in the finish. OK. Thanks to Springslicker for this one.

Thin brown color with a small, fleeting head. Yeasty aroma. Flavor is cola-like sweet carbonic acid tang, thin body. Below average.

Not too great. Poured dark brown with minimal head which evaporated almost as fast as I could pour the bottle. Slight lacing along the way. Aroma was just barely there. I thought it was lacking in carbonation. Flavors which included some maltiness were very slight and a watery body. I don't like this anywhere near as much as Aspen's Red or Pale Ale. A dissappointment to say the least. I'll drink the rest of the sixpack, but won't buy another of this one

Deep brown with a very light tan head. Malty caramel aromas with a nuttiness. Flavors of caramel and a little nutty. A bad metallic flavor and grainy. I would not drink this one again.

Tastes slightly nutty with a very noticable sweet, vanilla-like flavor. It's not bad but really doesn't seem enough like a beer to me.
