Found it in a bargain bin, went back for as much as I could carry! My wife loved this beer as well. Left me craving more. Just the right amount of hoppiness. NeonLX (258), Wisconsin, USA

It has a light & airy body, with just the right amount of hops for my palate. I don’t know what else to say except that it tastes very good, right up there with my other favorite ’Tyranena Stone Tepee Ale’
FOLLOWUP: I recently bought another six of this beer and was slightly disappointed--this batch didn’t have nearly as much ’hopping’ as the earlier batch I tried; I really missed the bitter aspects. I had to revise my ratings downward a tad because of that. greystreet80 (191), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Nevertheless, this beer reminded me very much of Fullers ESB, which is a good thing, and as such tasted more like a Bitter than a Pale Ale. Light burnt malt, perhaps with molasses and vanilla undertones. Frothy, mostly diminishing white head. Deep gold in color, medium bodied and softly carbonated. A solid offering. microdyke (360), Portland, Oregon, USA

Flavors of fruit malt and wheats. A bit of caramel throughout. I couldn't really taste any hops. Puss Gutt99 (206), Oldtown, Florida, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2003 Not too bad. I was a bit reluctant to get it since I was not overjoyed with their red ale, but It was on sale, so I figured I'd try it out.
Poured light golden color. Just as their red, the head evaporated quickly and the lacing was barely there. Decent carbonation. Flavor had some nice flavors and some sweetness, but the body was a bit watery. Again, just like their red, it reminds me of Grain Belt Premium. I didn't notice much of a Hop taste at all. Not much of a pale ale compared to Summit or others, but still a halfway decent beer. I'd drink it again if it's on sale, but I won't pay the "regular price" for it. It's still worth a try if you can get it for a good price.
