johndoughty (1632), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Aug 3, 2003 For some reason I didn't think that I would like this but I was pleasantly surprised. Chocolate dominates but not to a point were it is overpowering.Pleasant to drink and just proves that you shouldn't decide on the quality of a beer before sampling it.I did and I was wrong. rauchbier (2873), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Aug 20, 2002 Bottled. Black-brown with hints of red. Moderate head and condition. Low chocolate powder aromas, thin bodied and weak with some chocolate notes and a finish that becomes slightly metallic. Needs more alcohol. leaparsons (3906), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Apr 1, 2002 Most impressive is the chocolate finish. Not as moreish as Youngs Double Chocolate Stout.
