Poured a deep amber with a big old fluffy white head that leaves nice lacing on the glassware. Aroma is citrus and pine hops with a notable marijuana note as well. Flavor was citrus, pine, caramel malt and weed. Solid beer, I probably didn’t need to drink that much of it in one go, but what can you do? boFNjackson (1323), Portland, Oregon, USA

Big hops up front with a little bit of grains and much noticeable alcohol. Had a malty finish. BrownDogBeer (50), Portland, Oregon, USA

This one poured a fiery orange, with flickering yellow and rose making their way into the glass. Fruit-filled flavor (tangerine, grapefruit, orange) with ponderosa pine bark present as well. Bright, tangy, and well balanced. Wish they bottled this!!! KAggie97 (2482), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

Pours an average cheddar orange with an aroma of biting grapefruit and bitter hops. Flavor is sour, mouth-puckering floral hops with a bitter grapefruit finish. Slight hints of pine slip between the cracks as well. Thick and pleasant mouthfeel. Nice surprise; wasn’t really expecting it to be this tasty. Glad to see it’s highly rated by others as well. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Pours a hazy garnet coloring, bold like a new copper penny. Has some great fruit undertones, and lots of citrus peel in the nose. Comes across very hoppy on the palate, with lots of resin and grapefruit, nice use of simcoe, and some biscuity caramel maltiness. A really well done NW style IIPA.
