Sham (1845), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 10, 2005 Deep brown with lighter edges, a creamy head and string lace. Bitter hops and roast malts in the aromas. Some cocoa, but the aroma is slightly astringent. Bitter, astringent flavors. Eh
something is amiss. Sour, dry, ugh..
BückDich (4484), Boise, Idaho, USA Mar 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Wet Dog Cafe/Pacific Rim, Astoria Dark auburn, mahogany color, thin head. Nose of pale malt & Elmers glue, medicinally & chewy tangy malts. A weird infected feeling on the tongue, the hops are still alive though, not very nutty, more like an ESB.
