Aug 10, 2008 Light auburn coloring, with a small off white head. Decent enough on the palate, balanced maltiness with not much of a hop presence outside of the nose. Just a sweet bready maltiness throughout.

Dec 28, 2000 An average beer on the world scale, but probably the best one at the BeerGarten. It is a traditional Alt, but nothing stands out. Points for brewing to style though.

Oct 6, 2000 Can’t give this one very high marks. Was almost difficult to swallow. Was told by the waiter that this was a brown ale, almost like Newcastle....not!
