| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Clear amber/orange with a large head. Aroma of caramel malts and blueberries. Light to medium body. Heavily sweet taste. A little acid there also. Definitely has less blueberry than I was expecting. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 13, 2007 Pours very clear, with a unique light reddish golden color. Topped by half an inch of soft cream colored foam. Minimal head retention, a bit of webbed lacing. I detect a light fruitiness in the aroma, but wouldn’t know to call it blueberry if I didn’t read the bottle.
The flavor is sweet and fruity - this time I would be able to pick out blueberry. In fact, it has a moderate honey-blueberry finish and aftertaste that remind me of White Winter’s blueberry mead that I tried a while ago. Not as much honey or fruit of course, but enough to be noticeable.
Apart from that, the beer is light to medium body and undercarbonated. This is surprising because it spit foam when I lifted the cap. Nate (2569), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 12, 2007 Has a nice fruity blueberry aroma, like fresh blueberries with some sugar sprinkled on top. Light hoppiness, fruit skins, and mild malt profile. Medium amber clear with no head, but that may have been from the glass. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Bit of carbonic burn. Starts with fruity bitterness and some graininess. Good blueberry flavor on top of a pretty weak ale. Light hoppy character and bit of sweetness. Fairly clean with a light bitter after. aarossell (151), Grandville, Michigan, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 7, 2007 I’m confused, I had a bottle with the Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale label, but the beer inside was certainly none other than Leinenkugel’s Octoberfest. Same color, aroma, and pretty much the exact same taste. No blueberry flavor whatsoever. Malty, rich hops. Maybe I just had a poor palate last night. It was good...but I really enjoy blueberry flavor, especially when I expect it. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA

Flavor is the same with a light, watery finish. Sweet to start off with, not much lingering flavor. GandGKevin (196), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Light blueberry aromas, light white head which disappears quickly. Easy drinking ale with just a hint of blueberries on the finish. Good, but not great. jblendy (518), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2006 Pours light, cloudy, brownish/amber with a small, disappearing, white head. Aroma is light blueberries and some hints of citrus. Flavor is basically the same with more emphasis on the citrus, and a nice hint of peach, and maybe cherry. Palate is thin, lightly effervescent , mild citrus, and slightly rotten fruit. Goes down easy, but not great overall.
