Commercial Description:
A light fruit ale, made with Maine wild blueberries. As opposed to many of the sweeter fruit beers on the market, our addition of fresh Maine wild blueberries in this light ale yields a subtle blueberry aroma, without the sweet aftertaste. A mixture of the following Mutton malts, pale, crystal, and Munich, are combined with wheat to give this ale its lighter body, and we only use minimal amounts of Target and Willamette hops.

Poured a deep amber with a small head. Smelt like a blueberry muffin. Had light flavors of blueberry and some malt, and was pretty thin. Overall it was a decent beer, and it wasn’t overly sweet like most blueberry beers are. LC

Not a bad blueberry ale. Not as sweet as the rest. Had some great barbecue while drinking beer right at the brewery. Highly recommend a visit to this nice micro brewery.

Copper color with quick diminishing white head. Aroma is kind of metallic with blueberries. Flavor is best described as minerally, herby, grassy, with just a hint of blueberry. Thin mouthfeel, lightly hopped. Enjoyable but not great.

12oz bottle 4/10/09-Pours a clear medium amber body with a small ring for a head. Aroma of blueberries. Taste of the same with a little malt. This light bodied brew is pretty weak in blueberry but would work great on a hot summer day.

Bottle Pours a clear dark amber with a small tan head. The head lasts fairly well. Has a blueberry aroma, reminds me of blueberry pancakes. Has a light body. Pretty good carbination. A light but good finish. Has good flavors of blueberry beer. Has a decent mouthfeel. Overall it is fairly refreshing.

bottle. Amber pour wtih a very light head. aroma is malty and blueberries...aritifcial in a way. Flavors have blueberry, malt, yeast and some very, very light hops. Interesting brew I suppose...but not for me.

Bottle (12oz). Clear deep amber pour, average creamy-frothy beige head. Tart berry acidity on the nose, sweet fruity light malt backing. Taste follows, I get solid almost ripe wild blueberry, a fair bit of sweet yeast - light bod, fruity acidity, quite a tart zing on the tongue, finishes almost peppery - refreshing, I’d have this again for sure.
