Arome de noix malté, peu de sucré. Goût de malte noisette faible, arrière goût amère simple. Une brune typique! stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Came across this Atlantic Brewing Company variety pack (Ale, Blueberry, Ginger Wheat, Coal Porter) at Brewers Outlet (Butler Ave) in Lancaster. I didn’t really enjoy the first one I had but it grew on me as I drank a couple more...this being the last of the 6 in the case. Pours a nice dark brown...thin head...malty aroma. Bit of a thin mouthfeel but a decent flavor...malt...molassas as it warms. I wouldn’t run out and buy this one again but I enjoyed it for the most part. bleeng (598), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Bottle-no best drink by date. Dark brown not opaque though. Small white head dissapates rapidly. Malty, chocolataly nose. Very thin mouthfeel and body. Alcohol comes through strong despite the 5.2% ABV. Flavors of malt, chocolate, candied flavors. Not a bad beer but I wouldn’t buy a sixer of this. Too bad this was the 50th-oh well.... nearbeer (1842), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Updated: Jul 14, 2007Bottle, best by date has no notches. Pours dark brown, slightly cloudy with a medium and lasting head. Aroma is spicy-hopped molasses. Flavor is initially malt and spiced bubblegum, reminiscent of a Belgian yeast. Has some occasional slight sourish and smoky notes in the middle. Palate is chalky dry and slightly watery, with a light-medium body. Aftertaste reminds me sort of an Altbier. Interesting brown. cking (1023), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Rated 5/21/07: A higly malted, nicely hopped brown ale that offers a lot of character. Auburn pour with a foamy thick lasting head, little lacing. Caramel, chocolate, and roasted nuts in the aroma backed by a lingering hop bitterness. Medium bodied, wish it were creamier. Smooth taste, lots of blended malts, nutty, with a hint of raisins. Hops aren’t as discerning in the flavor but help to keep the balance. Delightful brown. yayforbeer (648), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Single from Total Wine. I had no idea this was a brown ale when I bought it or I would have passed it by. Aroma is weak, lightly malty and lightly hoppy. Flavor is just boring. Not much nutty malty flavor as it advertises, a little hop presence, lightly astringent. Not bad, but completely forgettable. I have had some fairly poor brown ales lately and this is just another one, onehotsexychic (101), Albany, New York, USA
