shadey (1496), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 16, 2009 On Tap at Anthony’s in Bar Habor. Sweet pale malt. Not much hops. This is too sweet to be a refreshing summer ale. There is no crispness that is advertised, but that could be due to how late in the season it is and the age of the keg. jimhilt (1664), Bow, New Hampshire, USA Aug 27, 2009 Pours a three finger white head that quickly goes to a ring leaving some lace. Clear orange/amber color. Faint malt nose. Light-medium carbonation and light bodied. Flavor is light sweet citrus, a little watery. I’m ready for some beers with a backbone. $2.00 for a 12 oz bottle from Tullys Beer & Wine Wells, Me. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 9, 2009 Straw yellow color with a white head. Not much aroma, but some lemon and wheat. Taste of grain and some lemon. Light and lacks the character of a microbrew. BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 26, 2008 Got lucky to try one of the last bottles from summer 2008 I could find in Bar Harbor. Wheat ale? Seriously? Tasted like a typical golden or pale to me. Rather mundane and chalky overall. (Rating #1899) dangelicom1 (17), Shelton, Connecticut, USA Aug 25, 2008 this was one of my least favorite brews from the brewery tour. it lacked the flavor that most summer ales have. i thought it was very blah nad wasnt too impressed kkearn (994), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 23, 2008 12oz bottle, purchased at the brewery. Best by Dec 08. Pours pale amber, with a small tan head. Aroma of wheat, cereal, hay and citrus. Flavor is fairly sweet, with wheat, peach, orange, and malt. Brief, bready finish. Fairly thin bodied. Unremarkable. JohnQPublic (387), Brooklyn, New York, USA Jul 21, 2008 Draught at the brewery. Pours gold with white head. Aroma is a bit of clean biscuit malt, with a hint of floral hops - fairly restrained. Taste is very light, crisp, a bit biscuity, with a hint of floral hops on the quite dry finish. Extremely drinkable at the expense of bold flavor, but nonetheless a decent effort.
