| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 22, 2006 Any first impressions?
-A narrow ring of foam is soon created by the fizzy carbonation over the transparent, aqueous bronze.
-Weak cereals and dry minerals produce a shy, macro-like aroma.
-Anoxeric honeyed maltiness cannot muster enough personality to make me believe I’m not drinking a BudMillerCoors product.
-A very frail malt backbone, watery leanings, and frothy fizz evoke soda.
What if you dig deeper?
-Aftertaste is nearly non-existant; there are no defects to be found, but there aren’t many flavors either.
-Bready connotations can be found, in despair.
-The semblance of a minty hop flavor is buried within.
-I don’t know what gets on my nerves more: an infected product, or a purposely watered-down beer from someone who can brew better. This behavior just perpetuates the idea that "refreshing" has to be tasteless.
Bottle; best before date was not notched. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 16, 2005 Pours gold with a thin white head. When I asked the server what this beer tastes like prior to serving, he told me it was somewhat similar to Gumballhead. A very bold statement if way off. Smelled of grapefruit. Tasted of wheat and hops. Not their best offering. Maybe after they’ve tweaked the recipe a bit. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 23, 2005 On draught at the brewery, 8/14/2005. Golden-amber-yellow with a white head that recedes to ring. Rather filtered and very clear. Smells of wheat, hay-like hoppiness, some floral notes. Orange-tea with honey. Flavor is warm biscuits and honey, fairly gritty/chewy wheatiness. Bready/doughy as well with a fairly strong yeastiness on the end. Dry, slight astringency in the middle with only a touch of caramel. Moderate carbonation, large bubbles. Light, farmy hops add a touch of bitterness on the end. Cornbread and milkiness from the malted wheat. Medium-light body. WeeHeavySD (3041), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Courte durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Faible effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût très légèrement savonneux. (Rating #1899) Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Thin and very carbonated - almost like a soda. Some ginger in the aroma, little bit of lemon. Taste was very lightly malty, no hop presence, very little character (this is a wheat? could hardly tell). Thanks to my friend Paul for this bottle (not the best of the dozen or so he brought me, but it’s still appreciated!)
