Dark honey brown color with even a little head. Sweet belgianesque aroma. Sweet candied sugar, belgiany yeasties with a touch of honey. Good stuff. Bigsilky (322), Charleston, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Gorgeous pour, rich amber hue with a taupe head that fades in a minute or so. Bouquet of clover honey, a little booze, and some malty sweetness. The initial sip is a little big in the alcohol dep. but seems to fad to dangerous perception levels as time moves on. Some, maybe imagined, notes of apricot and peach preserves, but really strong on the honey. Decent finish, with a lingering bite of dry honey fruit. Not that deep or mind-blowing, but balanced enough and well made. The 12% was a surprise as my entire body warmed before I started paying attention. Delightful with salty or stinky cheese. This cellared version, I do not have a year bottled, poured a medium yellow honey mixture with lots of foam and lacing. Malty aroma, creamy to the tongue though tingling it. Smooth drinking though nothing exceptional in taste, tastes akin a lager. Honey on palate in aftertaste. beerhandy (195), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

Copper with a off white head that quickly disappears, nice honey and alcohol aroma
Sweet and malty but thin , very nice very strong, I like the belgian character from the yeast almost a like a honey quad, I would pair it with some stinky cheese because its got such a nice aroma. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2007 Bottle into stem glass; purchased at Greens, Atlanta. Crystal clear dark yellow-brown, fully diminishing head. Smells like a less syrupy Jadwiga, with the full honey aroma coming across as very floral, and with a touch of alcohol. Although this is 11%, it seems much smaller than Jadwiga in the mouth: not as syrupy, not as sweet, lighter on the palate, and no trace of alcohol anywhere. Sweet, certainly, retaining the floral qualities in the mouth and a light gummy-candy fruitiness. Malts are crackerish and a nice complement to the delicate honey characteristics. Finishes clean, with lingering sweetness and floral qualities. Very enjoyable beer, if not as big as I expected. kyoutz (6), Towson, Maryland, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Enjoyed from Bottle (2006 Batch ) Sweet Aroma of Honey Bright Brown in Color but not too Thick Well Balanced Malt, Honey and Hops A very nice Night-Cap Brew michael-pollack (2712), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
