Aug 3, 2008 Bottle: Deep brown pour with a modest, creamy beige head. Nice thick lacing. Nose is heavy of roasted malts, coffee, and a little cocoa. Creamy mouthful is dominated by the roast with a little coffee and light bitters. Rather enjoyable, yet not real dazzling. Still, nice brew. Thanks to mcox90.

Jul 26, 2008 Pours a dark ruby brown with a one and a half finger creamy tan head. The nose is nutty, sweet, toffee, light and toasty. The flavor is crisp and nutty, really thin and finishes easy. I mean gone. Doesn’t taste bad, but it totally feels like the bottom falls out of it. The alcohol shows, needs more body for sure.

Jul 19, 2008 Dark brown/black pour. Roasty aroma. Some roast coffee and malts, dark chocolate. Little bit sweet. Nice thickness to it. Fairly smooth on the finish. Not bad at all.

Présence d’un mince col beige mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de café avec une pointe de caramel et d’houblon. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût.
