Commercial Description:
A superb porter, hearty & dark. This one is a staff favorite, made with pale, crystal, Munich, chocolate, and black malts. The darker malts give Coal its color and rich flavor. We use Target and Willamette hops to yield a very subtle hop flavor in this porter. We cellar this beer for close to six months before releasing it on the thirsty throngs of fans.

A dark red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with a weird coffee note - is it some expresso roast with vanilla in it? The flavor is sweet and very roasted malty, and with quite strong notes of expresso as well as some notes of vanilla.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of KAggie97. Slightly hazy dark brown with an orange hue and a beige head. Aroma of dried fruits and hard roasted malts. Medium body with burned and ashy malt accents, lightly sweet with a burned malt astringency. But quite decent. 051007

Black with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and coffee. The flavour has a light bitterness, notes of roasted malt. coffee and licorice and it ends slightly dry. It’s uncomplicated and easy to drink - thank you Linus_stick!
