Liight crisp floral hop aroma. Crisp, clean, light, slightly spiced flavor. Light wheat w/a hint of ginger. Somewhat sweet. Not a whole lot here. Inofennsive, but nothing special.
Had a spiced/ginger finish. starfireming (309), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Slightly hazy gold body, white head. Grain aroma. Ginger only shows up in the flavour, which is actually pretty good for something that reminded me of Miller Lite on first sip. Not bad. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Cloudy orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of light wheat, with a hint of ginger. Grainy flavor, some ginger kick and a dry ending. TheBeerGod (3147), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Bottle. Hazy gold with a small white head. Nose is STRONG ginger and not much else. Taste features a more subdued ginger, soft grains, and sweet malt. It’s still sort of lop-sided towards the ginger, though. Body is light and bubbly. Leaning towards dry in the finish. Ends with, you guessed it, more ginger. Softer grains and sweet malts. Not horrible but one of these is more than enough unless you’re a ginger junkie. carboloader (319), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Pours hazy orange, small white head. Ginger is present -- but like a faint apricot nectar, pretty flat other than that. No real finish -- just sweet malty esters. Not very good to me, but you might like it. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours a beautiful cheddar orange with ample head and nice lacing. Whiffs of honey-soaked ginger permeate the air surrounding the brew. Flavor is flat ginger and stale malt with old peach and far-gone berry. Average mouthfeel. Thank goodness I only bought one. When will Mankind learn to leave ginger out of beer??? jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2007 better than expected, the ginger and spice flavor was extremely evident, and it wasnt too watery. WISEGUY572 (1245), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 18, 2007 I’ve had better ginger ale. Hazy gold, firm white head, almost like a saison or a Belgian Wit. Ginger nose. Taste of ginger, maybe some hops, maybe not. No malt taste. Just sweet ginger ale, without the bubbly mouthfeel of a ginger ale or the heavier mouthfeel of a beer. Next time I’ll have a good Jamaican ginger beer.
