Pours golden amber with fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is big on ginger with a sweet touch of caramel. Tastes of sweet toffee and bread wit ha good dose of ginger. Crisp hop finish with lingering hop and toffee after. Decent and drinkable. Naka (525), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Shared w/ Juart. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color. Is this bottle conditioned? Mine was filled with sediment. Has a sweet ginger beer nose and a bit of a carbonic note. Pretty one-dimensional. A lot of ginger flavor with a little caramel and bitterness. Some fruit notes as well, but a decent amount of alcohol for the low ABV. Medium body, but overall, very ordinary. travita (1908), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 20, 2008 Dark Golden color with a nice white head that lingers and is slightly cloudy. It like the ginger smell. Spice ginger taste is prevalent but creates an earthy mouth feel that is slight unpleasant.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 17, 2008 didn’t really know what to expect from this beer (the ole 1/6 sixer) ... Pours a sunrise dark orange, with quite a low head- sticks around barely ... interesting appealing smell, ginger, honey, spice, etc... also has an interesting flavour, ginger and other befuddling tastes... an ok spiced beer that might be better on tap..
Overall: this seems to be a single bottle purchase more than a sixer buy, but maybe worth a shot...

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 10, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was thin, white, and reduced quickly to a thin film. Aroma was of distinct, but subdued ginger, and a whiff of cinnamon roll. Dry on the tongue with flavors of ginger, lemon, and savory scone. Light and refreshing. Would be nice on a hot day. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Another one from Skyview. Hazy gold color with a medium head. Strong ginger aroma with ample dish soap. Both still linger in the taste, but at a much lower intensity. A little lemon. The soapiness is a distraction, but otherwise good.
