Commercial Description:
A refreshing wheat beer spiced with fresh ginger root. The process of making this wheat beer has been nicknamed "special ginger tea", due to the fact that we add over 20 lbs. of fresh ground ginger root into the boil. We use pale malt, and wheat, as well as Target and Whitbread Goldings Variation hops to flavor this light, summer ale. Island Ginger is particularly popular during the warmer summer months, though thanks to the ginger kick it has, it would also be warming in the cold winter months.

Strong ginger finish, and it is a bit overbearing. If you love ginger, you will love this beer. Generally, it is very full-flavored, and very pungent. Something plant-like in it as well. Kudos for being different!

Cloudy gold color with a big white head. Aroma of malt and ginger. Flavor of ginger, malt and some sourness. Pretty drinkable

Bottle in Bar Harbor brewery. I do not like ginger but honestly could not taste much ginger in this beer. Not sure if that is good or not. Overall a very easy drinking beer no matter what food you eat it with.

I’ve had better ginger ale. Hazy gold, firm white head, almost like a saison or a Belgian Wit. Ginger nose. Taste of ginger, maybe some hops, maybe not. No malt taste. Just sweet ginger ale, without the bubbly mouthfeel of a ginger ale or the heavier mouthfeel of a beer. Next time I’ll have a good Jamaican ginger beer.

Opaque orangey yellow color. foamy white head. Very creamy mouthfeel, very light and summery. Lots of ginger, orange, and some spice in the aroma. Got some vanilla and ginger, rye, nutmeg, and carmel in the flavor. i think this is very gooood, and a very good summer beer.

Cloudy pale orange gold hue. Gingery nose Small bubbly white head. STarts with pale sweet malts, light to medium bodied, faint gingery goodness. Grain and herbal flavors, finishing quickly with a slight snap. Not terrible at all...

Hazy brownish amber in color with a fairly decent head. More grainy malt in the nose than ginger, but the spice is there. Also more subtle in the flavor than I was expecting. Nice, drinkable spiced brew.

Bottle. Poured a hazy orange-brown color with a white head that fizzed off quickly. Smells of ginger and wheat. Very faint hoppy flavor. Light body with a lively carbonation that took over the flavor.
