Good pungent ginger aroma. Mouthfeel light, kind of fizzy. Tastes of ginger and wheat malt. Just about the right amount of ginger to make this pretty tasty and refreshing. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2005 Thanks to my friend Ron Raike for the beer!
The only resemblance I detect to a wheat beer is the appearance? Hazy golden body and a downy white head. The aroma and flavor are vaguely musty, vegetable like, lightly doughy and yeasty, biscuity, and show the essence of the ginger root. The palate is rather buttery but pretty much on the light side of the spectrum… Not bad but not too memorable either!

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 11, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Hazy light amber, medium off white head. Ginger aroma overwhelms everything else. There is some light fruitiness detectable, but the ginger is really front and center. Medium body and a fairly lively carbonation, and a tangy mouthfeel. Seems a little sweet, with just a touch of acidity/sourness with the ginger coming through again in a spicy finish. I’m not totally sure what I think of this. I love ginger ale, but this is no typical "ginger beer." I think it would be best with a meal, as opposed to just drinking it alone, and would fit well in the same context as some of the holiday spiced brews. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 10, 2008 This was actually pretty good stuff, but you have to really like ginger, because this tastes like the real thing, which was pleasing on the palate. Grainy cereal maltiness, wheaty and citrusy, with great flavors of ginger throughout. Nicely done. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA

Flavor is interesting, pretty smooth, and unoffensive. Not good, but could be a lot worse. ehhdayton (1113), USA

The flavor is mildly sweet with noticible ginger and a light finish. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
