Jul 6, 2006 Draft @ brewery. Pours a semi-dark honey gold with very small off-white head. Good pungent ginger aroma. Mouthfeel light, kind of fizzy. Tastes of ginger and wheat malt. Just about the right amount of ginger to make this pretty tasty and refreshing.

Sep 3, 2006 Cool name. Had it a North River Tavern, Atl. Golden in color. White foamy head. Aroma of freshly ground ginger. Very refeshing with some hot wings. Ginger taste is al the way through this beer.

Sep 22, 2007 POurs a medium amber. The notes of citrus show up in the aroma. The palate gives you some hop notes but this is where the ginger comes out and gives a nice light bite.

Sep 4, 2003 Cloudy pale orange gold hue. Gingery nose Small bubbly white head. STarts with pale sweet malts, light to medium bodied, faint gingery goodness. Grain and herbal flavors, finishing quickly with a slight snap. Not terrible at all...

Dec 7, 2008 A golden ale witH no head. Ginger, maple and citrus in aroma. In mouth, a biscuitty malt carapils, with light but sustained ginger, light hops. A good summer ale. Bottle from Inertiaboy. shared Aug. 2008, while harvesting his hops.

Jun 16, 2003 Orange colour with hints of a golden hue. Head developed on the pour but very quickly dissolved. Definate orange and ginger smell comes from the beer. The taste is very gingery but not overwhelmingly so. The aftertaste leaves a little to desire, but all-in-all, a good beer that is pretty different than any other beer i've had. Definately one to try if you like ginger or if you are looking for a 'different' summer beer. I bought this in a bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

Oct 9, 2007 Bottle. Nice dark iced tea body with a foamy loose thin head. Nose-light plastic smoke, dusty, malty. Taste-malts swept off a brewery floor, yeasty cherry fruity esters English cask butter flavors, light bitter on the back end. Reminds me of some heavily malted American interpretation of cask conditioned English Ales. A lot more malt and yeast characteristics than I would have thought. Interesting. Little to no influence from the ginger. Enjoyable in a dark, dirty, gloomy pub kinda way.

Jun 25, 2007 Hazy and golden without much of a head. Just a tad bit of white film on top. Interesting hint of honey in the aroma sits on top of a slightly citrusy ginger aroma. There’s a bit of a lime and ginger taste in this one with a bready finish. Dry finish and lively carbonation round this one out. Not bad at all!
