Jul 5, 2005 Aroma was ginger. It’s a unique flavored beer, but like the Atlantic Blueberry it’s just a bit too flavored with a bit too much ginger. It’s an interesting brew, but I personally wouldn’t drink more than one.

Jun 17, 2006 Pours a hazy orange gold. Smells of sweet, spicy ginger. It has a nice plain wheat flavor that is followed by a slight ginger aftertaste.

Feb 10, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was thin, white, and reduced quickly to a thin film. Aroma was of distinct, but subdued ginger, and a whiff of cinnamon roll. Dry on the tongue with flavors of ginger, lemon, and savory scone. Light and refreshing. Would be nice on a hot day.

Jan 11, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Hazy light amber, medium off white head. Ginger aroma overwhelms everything else. There is some light fruitiness detectable, but the ginger is really front and center. Medium body and a fairly lively carbonation, and a tangy mouthfeel. Seems a little sweet, with just a touch of acidity/sourness with the ginger coming through again in a spicy finish. I’m not totally sure what I think of this. I love ginger ale, but this is no typical "ginger beer." I think it would be best with a meal, as opposed to just drinking it alone, and would fit well in the same context as some of the holiday spiced brews.

Aug 15, 2007 12oz, no date. Cloudy brown golden with a lot of floaties and a short-lived white head. Go figure ginger is the first aroma. It actually smells a lot like
Honey Sun Iqhilika (Mead) - Chili without the chili, of course. There is also some earth and lemon tang. Flavor has some earthy bitterness (2-3 out of 10), ginger, and a crisp wheaty finish, semidry. Moderate carbonation, medium body. Not too bad of a ginger, though not as good as Hitachino Nest’s.
