Cask gravity at Bricklayers Arms 2nd Annual Yorkshire BF 08. Gold with thin disappearing off white head. Not a wonderful aroma, bit of maybe. OK bitter in mouth. Acidic toffee aroma. OK condition. Not terrific.

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. My first beer from this new brewery and it’s a pretty solid early effort. Golden amber colour. No head but surprisingly lively condition o the planet. Aroma is mainly soft biscuity malt, perhaps a touch buttery. Light, citric hops emerge on the palate with a modicum of gentle bitterness. Clean and easy drinking. Nothing particularly earth shattering but perfectly competent and enjoyable.
