Nov 22, 2007 Cask at The Wenlock, october 07. Whisky, anise, nice caramel butterscotch aroma. Strong and earthy. Smoky, nutty, bacon flavor packed with flavor. Shinny golden color with a small white head. Medium mouthfeel a bit clumsy because of the smoke. Interesting, caramel, smoky pale ale.

Oct 28, 2007 A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock
Cloudy golden brown with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma with some slight malt and cheesy funk. Maybe just a hint of diacetyl too. Peachy hoppy flavour with some really pleasant smoky malt. Unexpected earth and peaty notes. Nicely balanced and interesting.
