berkshire_john (1035), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Aug 8, 2008 50cl bottle from Dobbies Garden Centre. Gold with a thick off-white head; rich, fruity, malty aroma with apricot and bitter cherry; buttery, sweet flavour, thick and chewy with some fruit and some almond bitterness; alcohol is more obvious in the finish than I’d expect at 5% ABV, detracting from the nutty dryness. An interesting beer. Bragesnak (1134), Aarhus, Denmark Aug 3, 2008 Auchterader, Scotland.
