Sep 2, 2009 Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars’ Scottish beer festival, Bristol 02/09/09. Pale gold with a slight white head. Grapefruit and sweet malt aroma. Hoppy flavour, with citrus, grass and a dry finish. Ok.

Jul 30, 2009 Golden with a small white head. Grassy aroma with brett-y grapefruit. Dry and hoppy flavour with brett. The infection may not be on purpose, but I liked it anyway.

Jun 8, 2009 ’Wayfarer IPA’, cask gravity, The Crown Summer BF 09, Nuneaton. Bright and golden with a tenacious head and lace specks. Freshly squeezed armpit, grapefruit, spliff, struck match and celery aroma. Ripe humming tropical hop, dip of crackerbread and vanilla but hardly any, heady green resins, dry roasted peanut, some butter and popcorn in the aftertaste. Hopped up but still mellow. A belter, betraying something of a BrewDog influence. Hands down Beer of The Festival.

Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, medicine, light yeasty, barnyard. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (070808)

Sep 8, 2008 Cask at GBBF08. Distinctly fruity hop aroma. Hazy golden colour, very small white head. The flavour has a really good hop character, grassy, citric and grapefruity. Finally a cask ale with some hops.
