Apr 19, 2009 Crystal clear blonde with decent head. Crisp clean aroma of light malted grain. Flavor is exceptionally clean and crisp. Very refreshing. Not much character, but hits the spot in wilting weather.

Mar 18, 2009 Bottle. Actually went to the brewery near David by accident. Pours clear yellow with almost no head and lots of carbonation. Very sweet aroma of malt, corn, and skunk. Taste is a little skunked- this is for all of the Atlas bottles I sampled. I think the water used for this beer is poor quality or the mineral content has not been accounted for in the the brewing process. Very poor even for a pale lager. And at only 3.8%, why the hell would you ever drink this over Balboa or Cerveza Panama!?

May 24, 2008 Pours yellow and fizzy with a thin white head. Smells of sweet malt, some skunky perfume. Tastes watery with some dry malty hints and a crisp finish.

May 15, 2008 Pours a dull yellow body with a no head. Aroma is faint of corn, and little fruit in the taste. One step below the Balboa, it had even less taste, and was less flavorful. But when you’re visiting, wherever you are, you know to drink the host countrys brew.

May 8, 2008 This is Panama’s Bud, I guess. And it’s not much better. Had it on tap at the Decameron on the pacific side. Pretty weak, in all aspects. I rated it as high as I did because of the sentimental aspect. All their mixed drinks were super watered down, so this beer was actually the only thing they poured that tasted more or less like it was supposed to. It was so hot there, a cold flavorless beer was not unwelcome.

Mar 13, 2008 This beer is advertised all over panama on the outside of bars but most people will tell you it has lost some fans because a colombian bought the company and they feel it is not as good .... it has a light abv so its a great chilling beer if you just want to pound a bunch of brews
