Mildly hazed amber with a thin tan quickly fading topper with light lacing. Aroma of mild skunk, noble hops and Munich malt. Thin bodied and tasting of toffee, toasted malt perhaps mildly burnt and very mild hops. Meh.

Shared by HogTownHarry with Blankboy and I. Appearance: Cloudy cherry/brown with a small dirty brown head. Aroma: Caramel, vanilla, some spice to it but not a lot and a tiny amount of yeast. Flavour: Bitter. caramel, lots of musty hops and grain, long malty finish. Can’t say I enjoyed this.

Bottle ( 12oz ). Shared with blankboy and garthicus. Clear copper pour, very large fluffy lasting off-white head (4-). Dry, slightly sour aroma - lightly fruity and midly floral-bitter - taste follows, a little less sour. Light, mildly acidic mouthfeel, solid carbonation, and a dry finish. Ehhh.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of grains, malts, and slight rye. Poured amber/orange in color with a tiny, tan head that disappeared quickly. Clear. Lightly sparkling. A few medium-sized particles. Flavor is lightly bitter and slightly sweet. Tastes of malts, nuts, and grains. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt and nut finish is lightly dry.

Tap at Capones. Pours a deep translucent dark amber with a bubbly/creamy off white lacing head. Aroma of sweet malts, toasted malt, molasses and nuts. Flavor of sweet malt extract, toffee nuts and grains. Too sweet and thin.

Pours a clear amber brown color with big foamy offwhite head. Aroma is sweet caramel with a bit of nuts and corn. Flavor sweet but pretty plain with a bit of boozy undertone. Overall, nothing special.

I liked it! Supried to see a rich brown color when poured from the bottle. Nice medium malt mouthfeel. Roasted grains and a bit of nut flavor. Even just a touch of hops.

Light tan head with slight lacing. Copper in color with a light medium body (more to the medium). Caramel nose with caramel, syrup, with some roasted malt on mouth. Decently balanced while a little more on the sweet side than I would like for a Marzen. The finish leaves me with a butter oily feeling.
