Not a bad beer. I usually expect more spice in Octoberfest beers. I was pleased that it wasn’t that ovberspiced Octoberfest beers out there. Had it at Atwater.

This marzen poured a nice dark orange colour with a quick lived foamy head, To the nose there was scents of apples and ripe fruit, caramel and sweet malts. First taste was very malty with the fruit flavour comoing through in flavours of syrup. Very sweet, almost too sweet. Flavour not too bad but thick mouthfeel. Finnish is like syrup with the palate slightly bitter from appearing hopps?

Delicate malt aroma. Wonderful malt flavor and crispness. Malt flavor lingers on the tongue a bit. Slight nutty flavor as well. Carbonation was nice and mild. Served from a keg in my basement.

Not much to say here. Dark orange, minimla white head. Aroma has only hints of caramel/toasted bread and nothing else. Flavor the same but turns overwhelmingly metallic through the middle. Rather thin palate and mouthfeel.

The aroma is a little nutty with some hints of carmel and grains. Pours a hazy brown with an orangish/white head thats a little frothy. Taste is malty, a little bitter at times, but has some detectable fruity flavors in there as well. A pretty average octoberfest.

Nice label on this brown bottle. aroma is rather musty, but this clears to a more sweet volatile fruit in the glass. Alky seems high tho unlisted here. Oh, now I see on the bottle it is 6.3%. Good creamy carbonation. Building processed bitter bite on the front and sides of the palate. Coarse alky finish that is a little in your face. A little more than my girlie taste buds expected. Malt medicinal feel.

A nice full flavored O/M. Aroma was of caramel and malt. Pour was a nice dark amber with a 1 finger off white head. Taste was heavily carbonated. Full malt and caramel with a sticky wet aftertaste.
