Feb 24, 2008 12oz bottle, no date. Clear straw with a big three finger white head, good retention. Aroma of light lemon pulp and light sweet malts--pretty faint. Flavor is lemon again with some cheap sweet malts and cereal grain. No bitterness in the finish. Overcarbonated? You betcha. Probably about as bad as a room temperature Unibroue (the carbonation)--maybe not that bad. Watery body. Pretty much an all-around suckfest of a beer.

Dec 28, 2007 Pale straw color with excessive head. No aroma. Slight sour taste. Thin body. The label highlights that it only has 128 calories---but polluted stream water has fewer calories, and more protein!

Nov 9, 2007 Nice blond color in the glass. Aroma is of slight malt, hops and esters. Finish is nearly clean. Everything a 1.048 Kolsch styled beer should be. Very nice to drink a few of. I found some at a Tigers game, no Bud for me thank you.

Oct 2, 2007 Pour is a transparent yellow with thick white head. Aroma is sour, with slight scents of hops. Taste is watery and bitter. Quite weak on the pallet

Aug 5, 2007 pretty awful overall..golden body with minimal head..this beer kinda smells like an old, vacant school room...earthy, grassy body that is mildly malty...finishes oddly sour...this beer does however belong in detroit (along side of the equally filthy city...) enough said

Jul 31, 2007 Draft sample at MBGF07. Poured clear straw color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Light hoppy aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration.

Jul 30, 2007 Well, I kind of feel guilty for pairing this poor little fellow with the likes of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout and Deschutes The Abyss, but, let’s be honest. This is a stinker. Hazy light yellow body, thin off-white head. Corny, sweet aroma with grassy hops. Light, watery, corny body, grassy, with honey-like sweetness. A bit cardboardy. Pass.
