Bottle pours a red tinted brown; with medium to large off white head. Aroma was ok; with fruit, roasted malt, chocolate, and some floral notes. Flavor was generally sweet; with predominate flavors being roasted malt and nuts. Body was a little light and watery. Decent overall.

Appearance: Pours a reddish-brown body with a thin white head. Smell: Exceedingly light aroma of cheap tobacco and nuts. Taste: Toasted malt flavor with an earthy nuttiness to it and a sprinkle of spice. Not really much hop character present, flavor, or bitterness. Finishes clean. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Out of six different Atwater brews, this one was by far the best of the bunch, but still just wasn’t worth it.

Deep mahogany with a thin tan head. The smell is molasses with roasted malt and a slightly floral. It is a thin watery medium body with toasted malt and a bit of nuttiness and hint of sweetness. The finish is slightly bitter at the finish.

dark ruby, thin fine beige head, sweet chocolate aroma with a light fruity character, creamy body, sweet tart malt flavor with a nice cherry character, the dunkle was probably not intended to be a chocolate krek, but it turned out that way and is OK

rich sweet chocolate and caramel malt aroma, sweet dark caramel malt flavor, touch of chocolate is brought out by the sweetness, light earthy bitterness for balance, not infected but does not score higher

Bottle. Roasted aroma, with a rich malty tone to it. Overall the beer was pretty light, refreshing and, well good. After having some Atwater brews that were only so-so this one hit the spot.

Pours dark reddish brown with a fully receding fluffy tan head. Aroma of clean malt, dark dough, light toffee. Taste is dry, lightly bitter from the roasted malt, but overall very thin tasting with a stale finish. Could have used more malt and body. Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with soft, moderate carbonation. A decent dunkel.

Bottle..nice dark black color with good head that lasted thru out...nice lacing on glass...not too much on aroma, could detect a little of the roastedness, slight choc...nice taste, but nothing that really sets this apart from others in this catagory...a nice drink, but looking for more

A nice dunkel, with a nose of baked cookies and caramel. The palate is a pleasant blend of malty chocolate and caramel. Lightly sweet, rather than overpowering, evened out with the alcohol dryness that is just at the level of conscious awareness.
