Should we herald the return of this brew as the brewery does? Don’t think so. Golden color with white foamy head. Nose is straw, honey, bread. Tad watery and thin. Flavor is earthy but dull.

Bottle - Pours a golden yellow in color with an active white head that quickly diminishes to a thin covering. Aroma is of medium malt with little hops. Flavor is malty with some nuttiness. Body is too thin and carbonation detracts from the experience. Mild hop bitterness helps the short finish. OK, but not a great effort.

Tap. Pours a golden yellow color. Modest malt with hop aroma. Decent head. Somewhat thin body. Taste is of light malt with light hops at the finish.

didn’t know what to think of this brew having limited knowledge of the style. poured a straw golden color with almost no head. Taste was mainly sweet with some florial hops notes. Watery

Pours straw yellow, loose white head. Light body, with a bit of fruit and a bit of spice. Maybe even a slight hint of honey. An OK offering.

I am generally not a big fan of this style. This came in my beer club and is a brewer that I have never heard of before. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a straw yellow color with a large fluffy white head that produced some lacing. The aroma is light and dominated by a yeasty bready element. The texture is light and crisp but perhaps a bit thin. There is some light malt and an interesting spice character to the brew. Drinkable but not something I would seek out again.

Clear and golden with a loose white head that doesn’t stay. Somewhat under carbonated. Nice malty flavor with grain and a bit of fruit. Decent body that matches the restrained bitterness and mild sweet finish. Perhaps a bit saccarine. A decent rendition of the classic style.
