| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 2, 2006 My first Atwater beer, and I am impressed. Bottle from the Beer Yard. The pour is gold with 2-finger white head and a good dose of carbonation, coupled with a ton of floaties which remain suspended in the glass. At times, the carbonation is floating up while the floaties drift down, and the entire effect is mesmerizing. At one point, I was staring at this beer like I was reading the Wall Street Journal, and mywife said "What the hell are you doing?" Perhaps the best appearance of all time due to this fabulous effect. The aroma was classic pils, with a hopcitric base, plus some honey pale malts and slight fruit (apricots). The palate was medium density, with flavors of heavy pale malty honey, plus the aforementioned apricots and hopcitrus. Well balanced, complex, and you really have to see this one to believe it! | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 8, 2006 Clear golden of body with a fizzy white head that delicately laces the glass. It’s got a soft, bready aroma with a light herbal hopping. Medium-to-light in body. The flavor is fresh buttered bread with some grasses and a snappy hop bitterness in the finish. Not shabby.
