| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 25, 2007 12 oz gusher, I was able to salvage the good majority of the beer. Aroma is full of citrus and hops, lots of lemon. Hazy golden orange pour with a real thick dense head and layered lacing. Based on the gushing bottle and haze I do suspect this may have had an issue during bottling. Mouth feel is a stinging bitterness on the tongue, thick and really rough. Flavor shows what could potentially be a nice hop profile coupled with some decent malt, but an overpowering hop bitterness is just too much to tackle. This one is just too unfinished and rough to be decent. argo0 (6907), Washington DC, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 20, 2007 Bottle; poured a fizzy and hazy orange. Good sized white head. Aroma of orange and citrus. Palate was off; too carbonated and thin. Really took away from the beer. Flavor was ok; orange, citrus and caramel/toffee. Unexceptional beer. radagast83 (1302), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Taste is very mellow and does not have an overpowering IPA flavor. Personally I really enjoy the strong IPA flavors in many beers, but this one was very refreshing with dinner. smackie (45), St. Augustine, Florida, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 17, 2007 Pours a hazy golden orange with a massive foamy white head. Way TOO much foam. Very faint hoppy aroma. Taste is bland and slightly bitter with faint pine and grapefruit undertones. This is a weak IPA. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 9, 2007 12 oz. bottle on 7/09/07. This wasn’t a gusher, but it was close, as a tulip glass filled to the top with foam after pouring only 1/3 of the bottle. Clear pale amber with the aforementioned monumental white head. Slightly piney and spicy hop aromas. Carbonation is excessive, light body, perhaps a little thin for the style. Fairly bitter from the outset, with a little caramel sweetness in the background, lacking the balnce needed. Long bitter finish.
