Murky copper with a medium lasting thing frothy white head. Nose is copper with some bitter hopness. Taste mostly copper with more bitterness and just a bit of malty dirtyness. Drinkable and pleasant. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Bottle. Coppery orange coloration with a two finger high frothy head. It is slowly sinking into the body and leaving lots of foam on the glass’s sides. Aromas are decidedly piney... Cascade hops, for sure. Flavor is a malty body that then gives way to a resin finish that is a little brusque, but well carried out. Almost a grapefruit rind-like bitterness from the hops. A little watery throughout, but I liked this much more than I expected. hopscotch (5507), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Bottle... Mostly clear golden ale with a mid-sized, fizzy, off-white head. The nose presents heaps of honey, crystal and biscuity malts and earthy hops. Well-balanced, earthy flavor. Sweet toffee and bitter, tannic grapefruit roughage. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Crisp, bitter, tongue-numbing (Novocaine-like) finish. Drew (2409), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Color is somewhere between orange and yellow macro brew. Short head, but decent lacing. Aroma is lightly hoppy - not a good sign. Taste is thinly sweet with a pale ale amount of hoppiness and a short bitter finish. I’d hesitate to label this an IPA. OldGrowth (1426), North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Bottle, from trade with someone who shall remain nameless. Ok aroma, sweet. Grassy, grapefruit, honey, toasted malt. Clean orangy copper color, ok head, left a foam cover with minor lace. Bitter flavor, like aroma but stronger. Grass & grapefruit basically. Lite body, lite creamy oily mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Was easy to drink, but didn’t make me want another.
