| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 28, 2008 I agree this beer was anything but an IPA, more like a weak APA. pours a hazey cloudy orange colour. Head was nice sized, white and semi citrusy. but for the most part the flavor was weak on hops and fruit. Not a whole lot of floral character in this one. alexsdad06 (1081), Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Bottled. Pours slightly hazy golden color with a large off white head that goes forever. The aroma has a hint of spice and some citrus with pale malt. I generally like a bit more hops with my IPAs. The flavor is more grassy pale malt with light citrus and spice. Like others have said, this does not resemble an IPA as much as it does a pale. Not going to revisit this one. AllAboutStout (605), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Pours light gold in color with a huge, four inches of head that doesn’t seem to want to go anywhere. Smells like a light lager. No sign of hops anywhere. Maybe a Pale or a Helles, but in no way is this possibly a IPA. Taste is a bit skunky and highly carbonated. Don’t know what’s going on with this beer, but it is not good. Pretty big on the mouthfeel. That’s about the only positive thing I can say about this beer. Now I know. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 22, 2008 12 oz. Hazy, pale orange-gold with a leaping-out-of-the bottle foam that settles to a lasting thick meringue. Aroma is spicy yeast, apples, honey and lemon. The taste is the same, with some funky bubblegum and woody-peppery hops to bitter. If this were a Saison or maybe even a Wit, I would give it higher marks and it would be in the 3.5 range, as it doesn’t taste bad at all. But since I opened this expecting a nice IPA and they labeled this an IPA, I can say without a doubt this is the worst IPA I have ever had. Maybe they bottled the wrong stuff??? Really smells and tastes like a Saison. Hoss (602), Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 15, 2008 This is what i would call a beginier IPA or an IPA for those who don’t want to have a real IPA. It is more and American Pale Ale than a full blown IPA. gearbike (416), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Light body. Smells better than it tastes. Strong hops with a floral twist. Just not balance to much like drinking perfume. Headbanger (1587), Aurora, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Updated: Jun 10, 200912oz botle-A light orangish body with a small tight white head and an aroma of butterscotch, malt, caramel, and no hops. Taste of malt, butterscotch, and finishes dry. This also has a funky taste that can’t be described. Not much of an IPA. This is not a salvation for hop heads more like a liquid version of a candy butterscotch.
