12 oz bottle. Pours a deep, dark brown with a 2" foamy head. Nose has a funky sourness about it with coffee. Flavor is very metallic at first, then degrades into an artificial sour funk. Also heavy coffee presence. Coffee with tin foil in it, yum. I loves my porters, but this one is barely above a drain pour

bottle: Pours very dark brown with a nice foamy tan head. Artificial sweetener with a faint coffee and cocoa aroma,. Combined they produce an unpleasant musty, sour smell. Taste is even worse. Initial vanilla extract taste turns to a sour, watered down vinegar finish and leaves a very sour lingering aftertaste. Flat and chalky mouthfeel. Only way I will ever try this again is out of the tap at the brewery.

Not really a good porter. Little in the way of roasted aroma, or coffee, or even chocolate. Flavor is similarly flat, with nothing to note. Oh yeah...no vanilla really present.

bottle bought for $1.67 from lexington. pours a very thin pure black with ugly yeast specks everywhere, like a shake. super not viscous at all. at first i liked the aroma a lot, it was super coffee/vanilla. about halfway through now, it’s still reasonably good but pretty fake. it’s mostly vanilla, with the obvious side of chocolate. pretty fake, again. i just washed my keyboard. shit types so much faster and cleaner now. this is how shit was meant to be. beer tastes fucking awful. like infected awful, but not that bad. lousy awful. um, let’s look for adjectives suggested by ratebeer: light sweetness, medium bitterness, heavily sour, salty, vinegar, vinegar, vinegar, no paper napkin actually. great. cello cello cello cello cello cello cello cello

pours just like a soda the brew is light in body with a foamy and light head that disappears in short order. on the palate again like a soda i can say that i did enjoy the flavor of vanilla and coffee as they both seem genuine and balanced. touch of something of an earthy or root nature just barely perhaps vegetable. it is different and demonstrative. no alcohol to taste but good beer buzz i just dont know exactly why but i like it!

Poured very dark brown with very minimal head. Aroma was coffee, vanilla, and hot chocolate. Tasted as expected too, coffee with a touch of vanilla and the hops were not very noticeable. The body was a bit light which was nice.

Pours deep brown into a snifter. Off-white head recedes to hug rim. Sour coffee aromas. Crisp sour vanilla and coffee from front to back. Nasty. Drain pour.

Bottle. Aroma is stale, a bit vegetative. Appears dark brown with a bubbly off-white head. Horrible flavor of red peppers in a porter. No sweet or roasty character at all. Light palate. Disgusting. I hope this was a bad bottle.
