Poured dark brown with very large amount of tan foamy head that lasts. Aroma reminded me of those chocolate nips candies with a bit of rum and dark cherries. Flavor is creamy, bitter chocolate, with some fruity base and a rummy finish. Overall, very enjoyable.

Light and weak flavor. Malty flavor is easy to drink. Okay overall. Good abv makes it enjoyable

bottle poured a brown in color with a huge foamy off white head. aroma has sweet malt, some dark fruit, sour cherry, and earth. light mouth feel with over the top carbonation. flavor has some earthy sweet malt, again the sourness, dark bitter fruit, and a finish that is bitter with minerals. not as bad as this may sound and the alcohol is well masked.

Dark copper pour. Thin tan head. Malty aroma. Creamy mouth-feel. Slightly metallic with hints of dark fruit, sweet malts and light acidity. Alcohol well masked

Strong dark malt aroma, little sour twinge, doesn’t seem like a flaw, just kind of seems like it was turned to 11. Dark ruby brown when held to the light, small tan head. What the? This is 9.5%? I didn’t even think this was more than 5-6 until I read the previous rating. Little creamy, some burnt grain, mostly clean and simple, though at this abv I’m impressed. Good times.

12oz bottle. The bottle absolutely exploded when I opened it. Total mess, and it wasn’t even infected. Pours dark red with a foamy tan head. Aroma is of malt, caramel, slight vanilla, and alcohol. taste is of grass, malt, caramel, and nuts. Lingering taste of vanilla of each sip. Big alcohol burn lingers long after each sip. Mouthfeel is very carbonated and watery. This beer is a mess.

Dark brown body with a thick offwhite head. Malty, bready and slightly fruity aroma. Sour fruit, overly sweet flavor (very disappointing).
