blankboy (2565), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 29, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Viper666. Pours a cloudy yellow with tons of floaties and an average size white head. Mild aroma of yeast mainly, along with grain, pale malt, mild saaz hops and some citrus. Flavour, which is a bit watery and could be more flavourful, of bready yeast, grain, mild citrus fruit and not much of a finish at all. Quite carbonated. Average bodied. Not bad, it’s inoffensive but it pretty boring stuff. Eructoblaster (1253), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Aug 15, 2008 Bottle - 341ml. Unusually hazy blond body with heavy carbonation and a thick but diminishing white bubbly head. Sharp malty aroma with grainy, bready and herbal hints. Its malty/hoppy taste is relatively robust and carries some subtle spicy and citrusy notes. It ends with a long bitter finish. Except for the appearance, this is a pretty decent Kölsch. mabel (1633), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 9, 2008 [1436-20080531] Bottle. Fresh beery bread yeast aroma. Slightly hazy, light yellow orange body with no lasting head. Light skunky bread yeast flavour. Light-medium body. Interesting aroma, otherwise fairly bland.

Boutip (1761), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Jul 7, 2008 Bottle: Poured a light yellow color Kolsch with a great pure white foamy head with great retention and good lacing. Aroma of light European hops with some unrefined grain notes. Taste is also dominated by this unrefined grain taste with some light floral hops. Average body with good carbonation. Overall, I wouldn’t say that this was overly complex but well made nonetheless and very refreshing.
