On tap at the Chef’s Table in Rocklin, CA . This amber ale poured with a decent off-white head and a toffee aroma. There is a carbonated sweet caramel malt flavor that’s a bit fruity, with a nice slightly bitter finish. Well-crafted.

8 ounce sample on tap at the Rubicon Brewing Festival for the Boys and Girls Club. Sweet, musty aroma that smells like my grandmother’s old farmhouse. Lightly metallic and enjoyable with some graininess in the nose. Mildly hazy copper body with a medium off-yellow head. Starts sweet---wow. Big malts in this guy. Lots of chewiness, roasty, grainy, and cereal-like. Smooth, mellow, with some light metallic hop flavors to finish. Lightly bitter. A solid brew.
