Bottle, 4.7%. Dusty aroma, slightly vinous. Hazy amber colour, small floaties. Almost a year past BB date. The flavour is slightly caramelly. Mild bitterness, a bit rough, but tolerable.

Bottled swing top (BB 08/2009). Amber color, steady medium-sized creamy off-white head. Mouldy, caramelly aroma. Caramelly, grassy hoppy, a bit toasted sugars. Dry finish, as well as watery. Nothing to drink twice.

500ml bottle (BeerAngel.de)
Massively grainy aroma, slightly porridgy - a bit pile of soggy malted husky grain. Pleasant carbonation, full palate. Simple but tasty grainy taste, full husk component. Finish a bit thin, unfortunately, as this is a taste I’d like to have hanging around. There are some hops, but they’re restricted to a light tingle in the mouth. Very drinkable, and a celebration of beers not having to be outrageous in order to be interesting. Tasty any time, any season.

Swing-top bottle. Copper, firm light beige head. Toasted bready aroma with nice nuttiness, slight butter and herbal notes. Sweet and malty flavor with strong nuts, hint of butter, enought herbal hops & bitterness to balance the sweetness. A tad chewy, smooth palate. Pretty low on roast, almost in the märzen league. A good, honest easy drinking brew. (was 7/3/7/3/14)
Had to pump up the score, I was definitely too snifty the first time, copper is sparkling and the palate is really nicely mellow and chewy. A great nutty dunkel/märzen hybrid.
