Hazy, warm golden with a huge, nice head. The aroma has notes of cloves, banana and wheat, a bit sourish wheat. The flavour has sweetness, notes of clove, banana, yeast and a slightly sour wheat. I love the bananas - but the overall impression is a bit out of balance IMO.

Dec 19, 2007 Updated: May 13, 2008Light orange colored, little vanishing yellow head. Strongly cloudy appearance. Rich banana aroma with some grainy tone, appearance and aroma remind me of some dunkle weisse. Some berries and nice coaly burned smoke also there, weird aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is more dominated by this burned smoke, some banana also there. This burned tone still dominates in aftertaste with some yeast, too dominating one this flavor here.

Nov 30, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy orange colour, foamy head. Light body, yeasty aroma, nice sour but dry and short finish. On the whole not a very good Weizen.

Sep 9, 2007 Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a huge ligth orange head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with a light touch of banana. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of banana, but also with wheaty notes, leading to a dry wehaty finish. A bit too strong banana note for my liking.

Apr 14, 2007 Bügelverschlußflasche: Cloudy, deep golden coloured, creamy and very firm foam; mainly cloves and bananas in the nose; moderate sweetish-sourish, and just slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; wheat and citrus-fruity in the tart finish. Rather unbalanced Weizen, hardly refreshing..........
