Bottled. U.S. Beer 29 of 31 for American Beer Month! This was the last of a discounted six at the store, so it may be a little old. So there’s a slightly skunky oxidized smell (thanks, green bottle). But it covers up a halfway decent German lager smell. Pours light gold with very little head. Lighly malted taste with a distinct bitterness places it at least a notch above BMC swill. Slight dead yeast taste, too. Anyway, it’s nice and fizzy, and I’ll re-rate a fresher bottle when I get my chance.

Can: Light golden color, small white head. Light hop spice in the aroma. Flavor starts lightly sweet with a crisp hop bitterness. A fair lawnmower lager if drank cold.

Light golden color with a thin white head. Slighty skunked and has a bitter taste that only has a hint of sweetness. The hops are very hidden and I won’t be making this a constant addition to my beer fridge.

A good change from the folks at Point. Only had it out of the bottle. Golden, not a whole lot of flavor, tastes like paper?, not much in the way of carbonation. Worth a try.

Ok, I seriously question some of the reviews on this one, especially it being indistinguishable from Bud, umm... no. On with the review. Aroma was pungant, much like a Heineken, but definately not skunky. Appearance, nothing real special, golden yellow, not much in the head dept. Flavor, this is a good lager, although the malt and the hops blend nicely, there isn’t much in the way of complexity. Overall, this beer gets a B- not bad, but at the same time, the brewmeister didn’t put the extra time in on this one.

Autumn Brew Review 2004. Ugh... yellow color. Kind of grainy aroma and taste. Not special at all. It’s not quite as bad as macro, but not too far ahead.

Dark yellow and active with a thin head. Tart and crisp, lightly fruity with tidy sweet malt finish. Not sure I could distinguish this from a Bud in a blind taste test.
