I tried this beer on November 5, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark translucent goal with a huge generous off-white head that lasted throughout the experience. The aroma was very yeasty with malt, and spices also in the mix. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and medium-high carbonation. The flavour was very Duvel-like with a crisp malty flavour with yeast and a citrusy bitter finish. A good beer. Vaiz (66), Netherlands

Bittersweet taste, a little dry and above average carbonation. Pretty decent overall but not very special. Taverner (839), San Ramon, California, USA

Pours golden near-clear with off white head. Flavor is refreshing, with notes of banana. One beef - there is a lingering aftertaste on this one. Gypsy19 (625), California, USA

Aroma is of pale malt, with just a little hop. Metallic aroma also. Flavor is slightly fruity, again with pale malts, and lightly hoppy. Decent flavor, just light, almost like a stronger pilsener. Light, crisp mouthfeel. Overall, good minus. emacgee (1867), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

Aroma of honey, yeast, slightly acidic, aged, but definitely not past its prime... a touch warming, slightly boozy, yeasty, slightly acidic/cidery, touch of raisin, some toffee/ caramel... Age definitely mellowed this...
