| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 19, 2009 Nice dark reddish brown appearance. Thick foamy head. Aroma is of freshly baked bread, hay, a bit yeasty and malty. Bitter leathery taste that makes me wonder if I accidentally soaked my jacket into this beer, but it’s definitely interesting. There is also a hint of sweetness, but the long finish is again quite bitter. Good carbonation. I actually like it, although it’s a bit different than most dubbels. eManu (191), Brussels, Belgium

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 6, 2009 From 330ml bottle. New beer. Dark brown with a caramal smell and caramal taste. The dark brown colour can be explained by some roasted malt, which makes it more interesting. However good enough to be excited about imo.
