(Bottle BB 23/09/08) Strongly fruity, spicy, yeasty and malty aroma with a hint of alcohol. Golden colour, hazy and average size, white, slightly lasting head with good lacing. Fruity (citrus), acidic, slightly yeasty and malty flavour. Lively carbonated, slightly alcoholic and medium to full-bodied palate. 19/11/06

Aroma of vanilla and nuts. Hazy yellow with a nice lingering cloud on top. Very fizzy and good, taste of cloves and orange. Great! I had to change the rating throughout the glass, this gets better and better the more you explore.

Stronger and inferior version of original Augustijn. Slight hazy pale amber coloured, huge quick-disappearing white head. Aroma is malty, slight yeasty and spicy with mild citric notes. Light sweet alcoholic finish.

Bottle at the Hopdevil shared with ozujsko
Poured a huge fluffy white unstable head on dop of a gold/amber body. The nose is ok... yeast, some lemon, grain and alcohol. The taste is spicy, yeasty, some maltiness, chewy hopiness, lemon, some malt and alcohol. A good tripel "diluted with alcohol" (yeah, I know it isn’t). Warming and not unpleasant, but definitely not all that great.

Bottle at De Zotte. A nice ale with a taste of orange. Tangy and sweet. The ale fades out with little carbonation. Slight (high) alcohol taste.

Bottle at home. Unclear light yellow - white head. Wheat, citrus, straw, yeast, licorice, nice hopped, but a bit boring.

Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Fruity, spicy aroma. Spicy yeast in the flavour some black pepper and a touch of alcohol when cold. Not bad.

Hazy golden colour with a thin foamy white head. Malty, yeasty and spicy aroma and taste with a vague alcohol note. Dry, spicy finish.
