| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours a huge white collapsing head, and murky gold color. Aroma is almost a white beer- nose of sweetness, lemon peel, coriander. Taste spicy and flat, sticky mouthfeel. Certainly get the warm alcohol about midway. Nice. donfardz64 (441), Wellington, New Zealand
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 22, 2009 330mL bottle from Regional – last one! Pours deep golden, white fluffy head which fully dissipates. A good Belgian nose to this one. Very fruity aromas, slightly herbaceous and a hint of alcohol and hops. Flavour is deceptively subdued to begin, with subtle malt sweetness. Then an alcoholic bitterness kicks in and brings some nice herb character with it. Alcohol just shows itself to be involved in the flavour, but reasonably well hidden. TheGrandMaster (1877), Auckland, New Zealand
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 27, 2008 Bottle (in NZ). Very lively pour, plenty of carbonation with a huge frothy white head. Sweet and spicy yeasty aroma. Lots of bittering and dry alcohol on the palate. The malt is slightly bready with a champagne-like dry grape finish. Probably one you would prefer to share. Mine seemed to lack the sweetness others refer to, which would have helepd to offset the strong alcohol presense. DuffMan (2784), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Hazy brassy gold with a big lively white head. Aromas of geraniums and straw and spices. Sweet aroma leads into a sweet malty palate. Perfumey herbal character with underlying honey sweetness. Better than I anticipated quite frankly but not one I would return to. presario (3010), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Rough honey scent. Flavour rough honey, flowers and alcohol with a bit of a bitter rough finish. Beerman6686 (1310), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor wasnt nearly as spicey as aroma, really sweet candy sugar. Covered up the alcohol very well. TEJA (297), Stockholm, Sweden
