This poured pale yellow, slightly murky body with medium head. Sourish aroma of plums, yeap weird, hops are pronounced in lemony and grassy forms. Quite nice, pleasant flavor, but unfortunately thin bodied. Sweetish, with notes of lemon and orange, but bitter and dry as well. Alcohol is perfectly hidden, I couldn’t believe that I drink 9% ABV. Finish is pretty short. Cute subtle beer, although I more liked regular Augustijn. cgarvieuk (4212), Edinburgh, Scotland

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 2, 2008 This has a clear sherry taste to it--which gives it a real personality distinct from its big sister Augustijn or other tripel-style brews. Nutty aftertaste balancing a mild but persistent fruitiness. janir (215), Oulu, Finland
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Hazy, light golden yellow with white, big bubbly head. Head is obviously thicker in the center. Sweet, malty, wheaty, lemony aroma. Alcohol comes through quite clearly. Lemony and yeasty flavor and finally alcohol comes too heavily through. Also some fruityness. Palate is medium-bodied and foamy and softly carbonated. Ober (1226), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands

The aroma is strong, a lot of alcohol and grassy. The taste is bittersweet, with a little fruit. Also some liquorice. It’s not bad, but it’s not my favorite Eructoblaster (1508), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Good hoppy aroma with herbal, honeyish, and spicy hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Taste is sharp and dominated by hoppiness. It lacks complexity but ends with a long bitter/dry finish. johninmelb (695), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Gently sour nose with flowery citrus. Pours very cloudy with a very firm, fluffy head. Flavour starts lemonadey but quickly develops an almost lambic tartness. Balanced by some cinnamon and spice, finally giving way to a long bitter finish. gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden
