One of my staples at the Sharp Edge in Pittsburgh. Sampled again on draft this brew pours a straw yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet and fruity with just a hint of a pleasant sour tang. The flavor is sweet and tangy with a light fruit flavor that yields to a yeastiness on the finish. There is a rather thick mouthfeel. Overall one of my favorite Belgian drafts. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium

Very strong ale. Mklein818 (165), Etterbeek, Virginia, Belgium
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 2, 2008 This has a clear sherry taste to it--which gives it a real personality distinct from its big sister Augustijn or other tripel-style brews. Nutty aftertaste balancing a mild but persistent fruitiness. Augustijn55 (82), Izegem, Belgium

There is a fairly good amount of lacing to go along with it. The aroma has notes of spices, sour fruits, flora,l others too. The taste is rich and full. A hint of sourness with the fruits, spicy, yeasty with some bitterness. Complex and satisfying. fiulijn (7330), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Malty and spicy aroma, dry (the classic coriander). Good body structure, not too much sweet not bitter; a light sour note and wood touch, peculiar in a Triple..
