Bottle. Pours crystalline yellow with sturdy white head. The aroma is herbal hops with a clean, but kind of boring graininess. The flavor is identical to the aroma, with a mild grassy bitterness. Pretty good representation of the style, but not a style I’m really into.

Nov 30, 2009 500ml bottle. Chalky foam over a straw coloured body. Weak smell of pale malts with citric hints. Noble hops and soft maltiness in the flavour. Nice bittersweet ending. Medium carbonation level. Well judge helles with a very pleasant lingering finish (bought at Galeria Kaufhof am Alex and enjoyed at my hotel room in Berlin, 22.11.2009).

Nov 29, 2009 I guess the one thing that I do love about lagers is the way that they are naturally clear. This one is pale and golden with a thin white head. Aroma is malty and faintly floral. Flavor is light but nice. Lightly bitter, and well balanced between malt and hops. Very refreshing.

Nov 28, 2009 A big, white crest of foam sits atop this clear-as-a-bell lager. A pretty standard cereal nose makes way for a puffy, fragrant hoppiness and classic cereal flavours. Sweet and crisp. A very cool beer.

Nov 9, 2009 Pours very pale yellow with a fast disappearing white head. Big bubbles. The aroma is fruity and grassy. The flavor is clean and dry with apple, caramel, toasted grains. Sweet flavor, but somehow ends clean and dry. Nice grassy bitter flavor in the end as well.

Nov 1, 2009 Bottle from Rodman’s. Pretty sure this is what I had, the bottle I had was Augustiner-Brau Mundieu Edelstoff. Pours a nice yellow with a minimal head. Little aroma, some grain. Very carbonated. Some malt and grain on the back palette. Very clean flavor that is pretty consistent from front to back. Though this isn’t my favorite style, I’d have a few more of these if I was in the right mood.
