Jun 16, 2008 Light golden with a huge, nice head. The aroma has notes of fresh hay, flowers and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness, light notes of fresh hay, flower and a citrussy bitterness.

Jun 10, 2008 Bottle (50 cl) at Sophien Eck, Berlin, Germany. Clear pale golden with medium white head. Fresh hayish malt aroma with herbal hops. A bit too sweet. Good mouthfeel.

Jun 7, 2008 Updated: Jun 10, 2008Bottled. Pale and yellowy with a slick of white suds. Spicy herbal hop aroma, sweet with grassy hops, biscuity malt, peanut butter. Slightly earthy, grassy, piney, biscuity lager. Almost cornflakey soft cereally afters. Technically excellent, just a little bit dull.

Jun 7, 2008 Draft 1/2 L at Augustiner in Munich. Clear gold colored body with a white fluffy head. Wet, sharp, astringent malt bite throughout, soda-like carbonation, seems like Bug Light sort of stuff, with harsh carbonation and slightly skunky flavor... some sour lemon and grains tasted, very simple overall and for a helles is lacks the all-important full body and smoothness. Kind of a terrible experience drinking this first helles in Munich proper.
