Bottle. Pours a small headed gold. Nose is slightly sweet. Well-carbonated, taste is fairly smooth, with a slight bitterness at the end. A bit of metallic twinge as well. Ok, but not one i’d seek out again.

Draught Pale straw body, fluffy white head. Skunky sort of aroma, hint of hops, much the same on the body with a restrained bitterness. I didn’t find this all too great unforunately.

50cl bottle, as shown. Pours a typicall straw, clear yellow with a big, frothy white head. Good retention, decent lacing. Aroma of yeast, malt and citrus fruit. Medium-bodied lager beer with a smooth, surprisingly creamy mouth feel. Very moderate carbonation. Rather malty initial flavour, closer to Pilsener style than to lager. Increasingly bitter towards the finish, which is dry and hoppy. Medium bitter after taste. A very smooth, balanced and rather malty lager. Very sessionable, if you like the style.

Pale yellow with a lasting white head. Grainy malt and herbal hops in a nicely balanced aroma. Sweetish malt flavour with nice hops.

Draught@Augustiner Bierhalle and Restaurant, Munich, Germany. Another typical German Helles for the masses. Nothing really to write home about.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear yellow color and a hoppybitter taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppybitter with a very much malty touch. This beer smells malty.

Bottle 500ml. This very pale and light yellow beer has grassy hoppy aroma. Flavor is lightly malty, bitter and a little metallic. Feels fizzy in your mouth. Light body. Not a very nice one.
